Hey, I'm up to 5 this month!

Koho, stop your complaining. I like you a lot better when you're drunk and not being annoying. I'll have another update tomorrow night on if I get the new shift or not. Today I had a fun phone call where this crazy lady wouldn't let me talk at all. She was upset because her remote wouldn't work her tv(it's really only suppose to work her dish receiver). I tried to talk and she would just yell and cut me off. That was a lot of fun. Besides that it wasn't that bad of a day. Maureen's parents came up for the weekend and it wasn't really that bad. For some reason her dad hasn't really warmed up to me, I think it's more because Maureen is daddy's little girl. He also hates the fact that I have tattooes, which is fine by me. But this weekend we actually got along really well. I bought a big tv a while ago and Maureen thought her parents would freak out over it but her dad really liked it so that's a good sign. Overall I think things went really well. Another good thing is that the Cowboys lost in ot on a blocked punt(ha ha) and the Pats are losing right now, really really bad. Also, the Phillies are getting killed. Check that, it's 7-2 and the Phillies have two guys on with Howard up, I think. It's fun to jinx that. Now for the bad part of the weekend. Notre Dame lost, which sucked. It was a bad loss because they should have won the game, but they gave the game away and then almost had a chance to win it. I forget the degrees of losing that game was. I'll have to look at the Sports Guy references for it, but it was bad. But what's nice, compared to last year, is that in the games that they've lost I really felt like they should have won.

Okay, here's a topic for everyone. What is your favorite new tv show of the year? Mine so far has to be Sons of Anarchy. It has a great cast and the story is pretty good. It's a modern version of Hamlet. What do you guys think?

Haha Roger and Koho will both love my answer to Roger's question. In my opinion, the best new TV show of the year is the "2008 Boston Red Sox Season". I don't watch the traditional sitcom/drama/action TV series, don't have the attention span to follow them from week to week. I basically only watch science/history/news/sports. Oh and South Park. Anyway the Red Sox season has been great and it is definitely the best show on TV, especially with Jerry Remy as commentator.

A few comments.

Kohanski is much more fun when he's drunk.

I am in no way surprised that Maureen's father hasn't warmed up to you Roger. He's probably thinking "This is the guy my daughter chose? I thought I raised her better." That being said, you should just be yourself, to hell with him if he doesn't like it.

That was a pretty lame answer Rob. You could at least humor Roger and attempt to answer the question.

I also don't really watch many sitcoms. I can't remember when shows are on and then I always miss one and can't figure out what's going on in the next episode. Malone was watching "Hole in the Wall" one time when we were over there, it was kinda funny. I watch Entourage, that's a pretty funny show.

I met Kohanski's cousin on Saturday. She was nice. Kohanski, his brother, his cousin and I all went to the Wolfpack hockey game and it was unbelievable. Three fights and three Wolfpack goals all in the first period. Unfortunately the next two period the other team scored 4 goals and they lost. On a positive note, Kohanski made me stand in a line for 20 minutes to get a slap bracelet, a yo-yo and a roll up calculator. Also, there was a block party and a cover band was singing "Don't Stop Believing." I believe I sung it better at Malone's wedding.

Come on Perotti what do you expect from me? I can talk about baseball, videogames, how difficult it is to meet girls, and not much else.

Does anyone want a fall/holiday videogame preview?

I really hope this blog picks up now that Malone is home. He has some reading to do, but I am confident that he will make a positive contribution.

No what would be exciting? If you guys helped me with my football picks. Let me know what your 4 "locks" of the week are. If I win the week you will be rewarded with $1 for no peak. Roger you will be given nothing but satisfaction of helping me win money. The favorite is on the left then the points and then the underdog. For those that don't know (Kohanski), the underdog is spotted the points.

Titans 7 1/2 CHIEFS

BILLS 1/2 Chargers

Steelers 9 1/2 BENGALS

DOLPHINS 3 1/2 Ravens

PANTHERS 3 1/2 Saints

GIANTS 10 1/2 49ers

Good conversation topic Perotti. I think these teams can be considered locks (the home team is always in BOLD Koho):

BILLS by .5 over Chargers
- Basically, do you think the Bills or Chargers will win this game? Thats what the .5 point means. The Bills are at home, they have better players, and will win.

Jets by 2.5 over RAIDERS
- Another small spread. All Favre needs is to win by a field goal. The Jets defense is pretty good and may confuse the young Raiders QB.

Steelers by 9.5 over BENGALS
- The Bengals are in disarray. They are 0-6, they have no confidence. Carson Palmer is out. Ocho Cinco isn't contributing (on my fantasy team too) and is going to explode any week. Their running back by committee is no good. And this crew has to face the Steelers defense? A disaster. The Steelers will put up plenty of points to cover this spread.

TEXANS by 8.5 over Lions
- A below average team at home against a terrible, awful team on the road. Detroit just traded maybe their best WR for draft picks. Can you say white flag? Plus a former UConn quarterback is getting playing time for the Lions. The Texans should win this one by at least 2 TD's, Andre Johnson has been on fire.

Thanks for calling me out Perrotti and Rob. Apparently I know more about football as I am winning the fantasy league. Boo ya.
